Use boosts to add variety. Thor for examples has 2 really good ones, one that makes him lightning fast, and one that boosts all the teams power attacks if I remember correctly

The game only has 2-3 filler missions I can think of.

You might know this already. But I didnt see you use any alternative costumes so ima say it anyways, you can unlock new costumes for every character and every costume enhances a different stat or effect. For example, Classic Spider-Man has a upgradeable trait that'll reflect a portion of damage that hits him, where as Symbiote Spidey can have a maximum hp increase, and Iron Spider can increase strike/melee stat.

You have a lot of very valid complaints about the game, but a fair amount of them get resolved the further into the game and the more you learn the mechanics and characters.

Well, the Orcs came out from nowhere in the first place. If their homeworld, or home-planet being “that” barren, then it should’ve be incapable of sustaining complex lifeforms in the first place. Anyways, good work on this game, even I enjoy the first Warcraft more than this one. Now I wait for Let’s Play Resident Evil 2.

FYI, invincibility cheat is useless against Death Knights and Mages spells... You still take damage and die from them... It's pretty funny that you're just immune to physical damage, not magical, tho. 😅

I don't why the humans wants to destroy "the great portal" from the last mission of Warcraft 2

Idk what bugs me more... red transport unit is bugged by landing on shore to sea back and forth background noise, or red Death Knights' tornado spell spam on air and naval units... One last mission until Beyond the Dank Portal. :3

Once their shipyards and transport units are destroy, they gave up pretty easily with no effort to rebuild them which is a weird. Also, have fun getting Bloodlust spam. Nasty damage btw. One punch already put my Knight in red bar... Lastly, the final mission is pretty crap... *No farms to begin with...*

This mission sucks... Two gold mines on the island where you can't even build a town hall's 4x4 size... Hopefully, I could beat this with trees cut down before building a town hall... >_>

They really should have more missions about the Alliance retaking the old continent.

I still suggest LPing Dune 2, Dune 2000, Emperor: Battle For Dune first, if you're going to LP Command & Conquer.

This is the mission where I gave up cause they constantly harass me too much. It was foolish of me to build a shipyard cause after I saw the water, I was like... time to build naval units... Fatal mistake btw... The gold mine quickly fade away for me. Also, this is where I requested a speedrunner's console challenge on PS1 where he too died on with his last unit remaining. Last unit dies is Game Over, but apparently razing all enemies and buildings are required to beat the game... Idky they thought it was a good idea to have that in the first place... :s

On the topic of Hulk in this game, he was initially going to be playable in the base game but legal issues with his character rights led to him being cut (as well as the Punisher). This included a cut boss fight on the Omega Base, as well as any special dialogue he would have had (with the Thing, Spider-Woman, Mandarin, Rhino and Shocker, and Dr. Doom), even a whole sim mission surrounding Hulk got cut.

Tutorial missions should have their own, standalone entry in main menu. They should never appear as “actual missions” in any campaigns.

Fun fact: Luke Cage in this game is voiced by Greg Eagles, the same guy who plays the voice of Grim on The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy.

A little few key notes: Hulk is actually playable in the gold edition alongside Hawkeye, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler. Black Widow is also playable in the PSP version with Hawkeye. Though, I guess you would have considered using Daredevil and Black Panther if you had them unlocked due to them being melee fighters.

Funny, I think the throne of RTS games is in the iron grip of Total Annihilation, Command & Conquer is right next to it, StarCraft and StarCraft 2 never get close. On a side note, try Earth 2150, you can always transfer surplus resources and units back to your command hub after completing a mission, then transfer them to your next mission. Also try Submarine Titans, you can capture enemy technologies and those captured technologies are available in every following mission. I never liked Kantai Collection, Personifying naval vessels to bishoujo feels so wrong in many levels.

I was expecting the first missions in this campaign being defending coastline against invading Orcs’ fleet or something.

Having Deathwing makes this mission a lot easier minus the insta-kill polymorph spell... *Spawn Broodling on Fenix again!*

I'm late to this but it's still incredible how over half the story is just filler till we get to Brainiac. However I have a problem about how you say every character feels the same, if you like to do the simple smack around to enemies that's cool but you did not even try other attacks (besides spamming proyectiles for the bosses, which is understandable) including the special ones that are basically what adds flavor to each character, and straight up the most fun part of the game, I can name a lot of things that weren't shown once in this LP, not out some "You are wrong" deal but rather just to mention them as I know the game well. You mentioned a couple of times how you were frustrated they did even remember Martian Manhunter could phase out of objects, or how Flash can't move faster, but they literally can! Manhunter had an special attack where he sticks his hand thru the enemy then rips It off, it also had an actual phase out special were you no longer interacted with enemies hitboxes and could pass thru destroyable objects (very useless but it exists), the Flash indeed had an special that made him run and punch faster. I get the impression you thought each character except the Flash had the same moveset because they made sure to give everyone a basic projectile with some small differences, but that's only 1 special move out of 5. Some cool not shown specials: Batman throwing a batarang that summons a bunch of Bats to attack an enemy, Superman strikes an enemy flying causing a shockwave, Green Lantern had the area damage hammer and could also summon grinding gears, Superman also had the superpunch which you can charge as long as you had energy and im pretty sure it's the strongest attack in the game in terms of pure damage, Wonderwoman had multiple attacks with her Lasso, hell, you said you understood why they couldn't make the Martian Manhunter transform in this game, but he actually can, it's temporary but you get increased speed and damage and it looks creepy haha, he also has an area attack with pierce that was designed to instantly kill the bug waves Queen Bee sends. Not only the special moves, but you didn't even try once any of the 3 normal combos, X X O O throws the enemies in the air then kicks them away and it was at least certainly more visually appealing than spamming X, I know it's just visuals but I don't even know if you noticed each character attacked differently (most notoriously in the combos you didn't use), for example Superman only straight up punches, Batman mixs that with some flashy kicks, Wonderwoman does a lot of brute kicks rather than flashy, Manhunter does a weird thing headbutting without using his arms, etc etc. Hell I think you even mentioned once that you couldn't block in this game, which you totally can do, and each character blocks differently showing a bit of their personality, Zatanna blocks with a basic magic shield, Superman just holds his waist like a bodybuilder and takes hits with his chest, and Martian Manhunter.... phases out lol, they didn't forget that, Wonderwoman is the only character that deflects proyectiles back to enemies while she blocks just like she does in the cutscenes thanks to her bracelets, that's why she's introduced in the level with Gattling Guns. This last one is pretty rare but if you press block while you're being thrown away you actually recover mid air. I don't think this game is "fantastic" but to me using the different characters unique abilities is what allows one to enjoy the combat so while it does feel very "stiff" in a way that the main difference is mostly the special attacks I disagree with the statement that they blend together, to me it's like playing a Mortal Kombat game only pressing square and then saying that every character is the same because all they do is a left jab, if anything not leveling up more specials and only focusing on strength, energy and HP recovery in the level up menu is the most meta way to play, that's why nobody gave you trouble as you had the maximum possible recovery the quickest you could get it. That's all I had to say, I don't really came here to defend this game as it is abrupt, repetitive, and the story is silly, just wanted to mention some of the good content, when I thought about my 10 favorite games this one made the list, but I know well it's one of the most aided by the nostalgia factor, it's probably the game I started the most save files for, despite everything said I think it's a play it once enjoyable ride if you don't try to take the story super(man)seriously, it is also the game I was playing when my old Ps2 decided to die for good.
